So after my desktop pc burned its gpu along with motherboard, I have to buy a new pc. But I bought an Asus N-series 15" laptop instead and the problem is I'm using as desktop replacement. So I'm using it long hours without moving it and while playing games, or using 3dsMax, it gets really hot. Since its made out of aluminium it cools down really fast but as you know, laptops worst enemy is heat for battery life.
So I'm looking for a good cooler to cool it down to prevent it suddenly burst in flames. But mostly to prevent the potential an airbus take-off sound in my room in the future(hp users will know what I mean). As far as I can tell its ventilation grills are directly under the keyboard in the middle and directly under screen.
Note:Before you ask, I can't remove battery.
Best thing you can do is clean out dust

I had the bigger version of this (had an 18.4" laptop) and it was great. You can move the fans to exactly line up with your intakes and the design allows exhausts to flow out with minimal blockage. I strongly recommend it because my laptop was a furnace and this did wonders.
Cooling pads are pretty much a waste of money, they only cool the laptop a few degrees
But for $23 it's good to hold your laptop up

Actually they can help tremendously. The cooling pad with my fan port mod dropped me ~15°C on load.

I never used a cooling pad, i was going off the info i was given on another forum but for $23 it's a good deal.

I can't remove for dust because I have to remove cover which voids guarantee for now and there are no removable dust filters.

Does having two small fans or one big fan makes a difference? Because from what I learned so far, they say if you are going to buy 1 big fan, make sure it is at least 230mm otherwise it does not cool good.
It really all depends on the fan specs of each fan. Sometimes the two smaller may cool better than one big fan or vise versa.
Whatever has more static pressure is better
So since my laptop has two grills under it I think 2 seperate fans might be better. But I found this one on thermaltakes website. http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001809
But on the same I found also Massive 20. But I think 600-800 rpm is a little bit low for cooling isn't it?
I also looked up notepal serries. I think I might buy that one.
You should be able to aim an air duster into your vents to clean the crap out of your system. I was having heating issues with my laptop until I gave it a few puffs. I just do it every month or so.
