Hello I made a topic in the garrys mod support section, and they told me to post here as it 'sounds like a technical problem'. Anyway, I get no sound in-game, but I hear the starting menu beeps. I get sound when I change my speaker configuration (from say.. 2 speakers to 4 speakers) which breaks as soon as someone speaks on voice chat. This is a weird bug which has been bothering me for a while as it's no fun without sound.
If anyone could help me, please reply! :)
I was about to say that you should post this in the Garry's Mod Help section, but you already did. (Rate me books please)
Have you tried reinstalling your sound card drivers?
Disable Voicechat, and see if the bug still occurs?
Thanks for your help. I'll try re-installing and if that doesn't work i'll just disable voice chat. ^^ - But I do have to change my speaker config. as soon as I enter a server/map changes and that gets annoying x_x
I have done a full re-install and everything, nothing. It's ONLY in-game which really confuses me, and it only started happening recently. Simply disabling voice chat doesn't change anything. This is really annoying can anyone suggest anything to me? :(
