THis is why i stick with Vista. Win7 is just a overhyped Vista
Well, what happened was ;
My bro suggested Duel-OS'in with windows 7 and vista, I did it, with vista being on my C drive, But what he didnt tell me to do was partion my D drive so i can keep my factory restore settings, so i couldnt restore it, so i took a few files out my C drive that i didnt need. and now Vista wont work. So im stuck with the windos 7 on my D drive

Well... press "Windows key + R". Type "dxdiag" and press enter. Go to display section and post all info on "device" and "drivers" part.
Mines windows 7, and has a different window to Vista, here is the stuff i got out of it
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (6.1, Build 7600)
Acer
Aspire X1700
Intelcore 2duo CPU E7300 @2.66GHz (2cpus) ~2.7GHz
Memory - 4096mb RAM
DirectX11
device - Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
Chip NVIDIA
DAC Type - 8bit
Main Driver VGA
Version - 6.1.7600.16385
Actually I don't need that info... I'm going to expect you have some mainstream Nvidia graphics card. Just download this and it should work.
thanks Ive been frustrated all day and its ben getting at me, if this works thank you so much :D
Well.. I don't know if it will work because you didn't provide the exact name of the GPU. Try anyway. If it doesn't work then I'm out of ideas.
I hate windows 7 now :S duno why i actually decided to put it on :S. Anyway. I might aswell as ask here instead of starting a new thread.
How would i restart a comp to its very origional Factory settings and wipe both the C and D drives?
How about you look up from your computers manufacturer what it shipped with? Then we can point you to the drivers. Windows 7 64 bit runs perfectly fine, I have been running it since it's release.
*sigh* It worked for me until i tried to install it on Windows 7 :S Im just gonna reformat my computer and buy vista again
