Can I plug my mouse into my iPhone wall / socket charger without screwing something up?

Quick question that I won't bother people at the technical subforum with. Can I take my Razer Naga Epic USB mouse, take the USB wire that came with it, stick it into my iPhone / iPad wall-socket charger and let it charge? I have to have my computer turned on if I want the mouse to charge which bothers me a bit and I don't want to overcharge or overvolt my mouse by plugging it into my iPhone charger if that doesn't work.
Probably basic knowledge yada-yada but I've been using wired mouses since the day I was born and I just switched over to wireless.
If you plug your mouse into your wall you can control everything on the walls and move the stuff around.

The mouse will gain your house power network's frequency and lose the frequency of the computer. You could TRY using it with your PC but it won't work.
I highly recommend not doing it.

Yes it will charge but whatever you do, DO NOT MOVE THE MOUSE. It will fuck up the electrical signals around the house.
and have your fire extinguisher ready, just in case.
The mouse will power up, the LED and all, but the data pins remain unconnected so essentially its useless.
Hmm. Even if useless, I'd just want it to charge through the socket charger from my iPhone.
OK, just plugged it in and the neon went on, I think it's charging. It won't be useless once I take it out of the charger.. right?
RIGHT?
It is a wireless mouse, right?
Sure is. Works wired too but my PC screwed something up when it's wired.

Unless you have some sort of tech no one else does, you can't wirelessly transmit power.

No he means the mouse IS wireless but also has a (micro-USB?) port to allow it to charge up or be used as a wired mouse.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Seems to work but I'm still afraid of doing damages in the long run. Can anyone confirm that this is safe?
You need to wrap it in rubber so it doesn't become charged with a virus.
wait so you want to plug it into a wall socket to charge up via usb-to-wall socket? Why not plug it into your computer or can it not charge when like that?

It charges just fine when plugged into my computer, but obviously doesn't charge when the computer is off. Taking my iPhone charger, plopping the little charger box for the mouse to the iPhone charger, mouse in charger box, then iPhone charger in wall.
I like how he thinks the motherboard doesn't recieve power when the Powerpoint and PSU are still turned on but the PC is off.
Seriously man. Don't touch the mouse when it's plugged into the wall. You don't want to be electricuted by 240volts. Or whatever amount is used in Denmark. Plus it will break the mouse anyway..
Although you do run the risk of blowing fuses if you move the mouse while plugged in
Strangely, it hasn't broke the mouse (yet) and I can touch it just fine when it's in the wall charger. Better stop though, sounds sort of dangerous.
May be because it's not directly plugged into the socket but goes through the transformer first.
How are you supposed to charge it anyways?
You have 9 seconds.
