I'm mildly interested in this. Call of Juarez: BiB was flawed, I hated almost all the characters, and I struggled to stay interested in the game after a while, but the gunplay was good and fun. Some polish and a good story (or open world would be great, a la Red Dead Redemption) could save this series from death.
So is The Cartel just something we don't talk about. 'Cause I'm fine with that.

I mean if it's 15 bucks, like it said in the article, thats fine with me. Loved Bound in Blood, it was a shame that the cartel was such a big blow to what could have been a good series.
Can you adjust fov? It was vomit inducing in BiB
Didn't know it was only going to be $15, definitely going to pick it up.
BiB is up there with being one of the harder FPS games to play due to its FoV of 57, but Metro 2033 takes the cake as it clocks in at a default FoV of 45. I don't get motion sickness of any sort nor do I get any problems with FoV but Metro gave me pretty big eye strain and headaches.
I played BiB on a 4:3 monitor and wanted to cry the indoor scenes were so difficult. In metro I switched to wider as soon as I could, but BiB has no such luxury
