When playing any game, even games that don't demand much, I crash randomly. Here's my system info. [Img]http://i35.tinypic.com/6is21h.jpg[/img] I could post some dump files if needed.

What's the error in the BSoD?
Mini101309-01.dmp 10/13/2009 6:38:05 PM PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA It says its caused by hal.dll, theres also another error that has no error name, it says its caused by nvlddmkm.sys
What's the other bit? like 0x00000050 for example [editline]03:15AM[/editline] Download this (Memtest86+) [url]http://www.memtest.org/download/4.00/memtest86+-4.00.iso.zip[/url] Extract and burn to a cd, boot into it, and test your ram. [editline]03:16AM[/editline] Also try reseating memory.
0x00000050, the one with no error is 0x00000116
Oh. Start in safe mode, remove all graphics card drivers, then go back into windows and reinstall. [editline]03:17AM[/editline] It may help to run DriverSweeper or something.
Do I need the graphics card disk or will it use default drivers or something?
Windows will use the default drivers, which are unplayable on. I mean like 800x600 resolution with 16-bit colour. Then it will pop up saying "Found new hardware!" Cancel that, download latest drivers from ATI or nVidia's website (assuming you have an ati or nvidia card). Install those and reboot.
Right, I deleted the drivers and it started to automatically install them after restarting, there was no way to cancel it. Is that ok?
After deleting the drivers, immediately install the new ones before rebooting.
What graphics card do you have?
Geforce 9600 GT
Yeah, take off old ones, get new ones from nVidia site, install ,reboot.
