What kind of service are you paying for? a 50Mb line (FIOS?)? Regardless you would be downloading at about 11.5 MB/S O_O

that would make sense it took a 800mb movie 1 min to download [editline]11:23AM[/editline] how do you have 7 ping at ~100mi? or is that fucked up too

[editline]02:58PM[/editline] Also works on certain ISPs. I have seen Comcast spike as 120Mb/s down, and approximately 50Mb/s Up. Just depends on what the maximum line they have available in your area and so on and so on
Speedtest can be pretty inaccurate at high speeds. I keep seeing VDSL2 with a max of 40Mbit hit "50Mbit" and "90Mbit" when it isn't achieving anywhere near that.

I get pings of 30ms in northeren sweden and northeren norway, 10 - 20ms pings everywhere else, and sometimes I'm able to pull less than 10ms from professional hosting services.
What's the point of boost? Is it just used to skew these tests?

If Verizon have cache servers (lots of cable operators do) you'll be getting a false reading from a much more local server.

Try again with this [url]http://web100.rit.edu:7123/[/url] I've found this to be much more accurate.
My friend had higher speeds than the previously recorded highest speed in our area (southern california), and even that was just 50Mb/s
