I liked D3 but only because I never played D2. Still never went back for a New Game plus on D3.

True; I had some semblance of fun with it, but I still enjoy the other Diablo-style ARPGs on the market like the Torchlight games and Path of Exile.
However, the notion of choosing a property on your item to reroll sounds pretty dope; we've all been there, with an item that has good properties except one that you don't feel you need, and wish you had a different thing on that item. Also being able to change the appearance of items is a cool thing as well, since we all want to look cool but need to have good stats.
Recently bought it on console and the lack of the auction house and always online is really awesome. The game just feels right on the console. Furthermore the local coop is really great.
I never played Diablo 1 or 2 that much, so I really enjoy this one.
I think that if I'm going to get back into this game I'll probably wait and play the Crusader. We shall see.
The only thing I wanna know more about is Loot 2.0.

I don't really get why people say it's a bad game, it seems perfectly fine with what it does.
It's not bad, I've seen nothing I didn't particularly dislike. They simplified the level up system though. On the subject of Torchlight though, I like torchlight, but I don't really care for it. I don't love it like I love Diablo, and I don't think I ever will. :\
Torchlight has good gameplay but everything is really boring at some point, the dungeons are far to large and pacing is weird. The game just throws everything at you right from the bat without building up anything.
Also in TL2, the classes were pretty meh. Didn't like them much.

There's something that about Torchlight 2 that put me into a trance, and not the good kind. Like I said PoE and no atmosphere, but TL2 had, like, anti-atmosphere. To me the art style was just such a bland, generic sort of cartoony that everything kind of blurred together.
Just started playing PoE and it's pretty solid but the reviews that are all like "DIS IS WAT DIABLO 3 WAS SPOSED TO BEH" make me laugh, hard. Diablo 3 is a solid game, it's just more of the same and streamlined for the mainstream community of today. I can't wait for RoS. Also fuck the skill tree in PoE, what the hell is that shit. No hint at anything, just a massive, convoluted web of fuck.

PoE is just really boring to play, there atmosphere and all gameplay feels so boring.
I'd try diablo 3 but it costs £30 and its been out for a year so yeah blizzard can go suck my fat one
So it's basically just an RNG you feed materials into, + lets you change appearance. Sounds like something that could be cooked up in all of 7 minutes by a single coder
I liked D3 because I made $160.
from the secret island drops!
Am I the only person who preferred TL2 to D3? I found it an overall more enjoyable experience with less grindy shit. Then again I'm a player who will spend up to 15 hours and not much more playing.
The auction should've never been a thing.
People just farmed cash so they could buy better items, like some MMORPG. When Diablo should be all about killing bosses and getting sweet loot.
In early Diablo 3 the bosses dropped such shit loot that it wasn't even profitable killing them. All you did was to take a waypoint and kill a treasure goblin, and then rinse & repeat.
Sure the farming in Diablo 2 mostly was killing Baal over and over, but atleast the loot was cool. The way everyone just spamclicked in hope to get that one good item.

Well bosses didn't drop loot because they wanted to get loot by playing the game normally instead of killing one boss over and over. Would have been a good idea if there had been good loot. An idea Borderlands 2 should have payed attention to.

I think I played the Alpha or Beta of PoE ages back and I have to confess I thoroughly enjoyed just typing "Diablo 3" into global chat every few hours just to see the argument explode again. I don't even think D3 was released at the time.
