Fraps doesn't seem to work for me, It lags my computer and skips every 3 seconds. I was wondering where could I get a different recorder, for free (or buy) that can do alot better than fraps. Yes I have the latest version of fraps, but it still doesn't help. My computer, It runs games like the wind, but with fraps, it turns slow. Here are my computers Specs: OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600 OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Name GAMINGPC System Manufacturer INTEL System Model DG31PR System Type X86-based PC Processor x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 13 GenuineIntel ~2199 Mhz BIOS Version/Date Intel Corp. Camstudio is free, but you may need to download it's lossless codec if you want higher quality videos.
Try out banicam, not free but the trial lets to do 10 MINUTES per video

My Phenom II can't handle it. It's probably the best choice if you want to record a flash game though. I personally use XSplit for some games, works well when you're recording games that you can run with high FPS without too much of a struggle. However, getting past the quirks is a different story. I stream the videos and download them or upload them straight to YouTube.
WeGame works pretty well for me! http://www.wegame.com/
MSI Afterburner has a recording feature.
Just make Fraps record 30fps Half-Size
I used to use this all the time http://v2.planetgamecam.com/ I can find the key for it if you want [editline]12th June 2012[/editline]
WeGame works pretty well for me! http://www.wegame.com/
It seems that they deleted my old account oh well
