Sorry for the shitty thread, but does anyone have any info on this?
The answer to your question is (CENSORED) This post has violated subsection 3A-BC62, clause 16 of the Internet Censorship Law. It has been removed.

Oh it's been in effect for a while for me. Great firewall of China.
No! Save yourself while you still can, the preisdent is going to the first amendment. Get out while you still can. (User was blacklisted for this post ("Inciting rebellion" -US Government))
Even when/if this is in effect is it US only?
All I know is that it's better to over-react against it now than it is to do something about it after it sets in - if it should ever occur, that is (and I pray to God not). From what I read, they're using the same censorshit to control people in China, Mexico, and two other places (Syria too, I think). If anything, the Protect IP Act will indirectly affect other countries adversely should the US fall victim to it. In a word: Man's innate freedoms of speech and expression are in peril.
It's going to be US only, if you are using a US service provider, then most of the "bad" shit will be blocked. Also if it was, I would of heard of it because it would be on the news everywhere.
