This isn't why I don't bother with it. I don't bother with it because the games are mediocre at best and the community is toxic.

I used to enjoy the series when it was just running around shooting shit and having fun, that pretty much stopped at MW2 for me, started getting below medicore and far too unbalanced from then on. CoD4 and WaW were really the golden era for the series.
