• Are there American football leagues in England/Europe?

There are quite a few rugby leagues in the US (there's 5 teams in Massachusetts) and of course there's MLS (Or MLF - Major League Soccer/Football) While I was eating a delicious eclair 5 minutes ago I stumbled on the thought of American Gridiron leagues in England. Are there any? I know there was NFL Europa but that died out a few years ago.
MLS (Or MLF - Major League Soccer/Football)
Read as MILF.
I know there's EFAF (European Federation of American Football) which is the governing body, and I know of BAFACL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BAFA_Community_Leagues. That's about all I know of American Football leagues in Europe though.
They're not well-known really, but there is a somewhat popular gridiron football league in Japan.
Maybe if we started calling it the ACTUAL name of it (American Gridiron) Europeans would stop getting mad at us for calling it football. But thanks for those two links!

And as I saw a different member post a while back, it's called football because it was played on foot by peasants, while nobility played their sports on horseback. And association football was original called soccer.
