Yesterday I reinstalled Morrowind from steam, I tried to play but it Just relaunched the launcher

I've tried reinstalling with no success,I've tried running the EXE directly but it still doesn't want to work, it worked fine a month ago.

Have you reverted back to to original version of steam?
The beta might have had a bug.

It fixed it for a while but its started again
Start in safemode and see if it starts up.
