I really like Titanfall. The price point is what killed it.
Hopefully this one will be worth 60 bucks.
-snip dumb misread-
multiplat doesn't mean crossplay
it just means that it wont be xbone/pc exclusive
oh wow how did I misinterpret that
I feel really dumb now

this is awkward

I really hope we get some badass PC mech fights with VR at least
The parkour system in titanfall is amazing. But the game doesn't really bring much to the table.
More parkour(ish) games! And dude yes VR for a game like this would be super sweet.

Also, Source 2 maybe?

How so? I mean, I think it brings plenty in how it tweaks the more conventional gameplay mechanics of customization and persistent unlocks in a way that's more limited and directed. I like it.

It was many times mentioned that if you move too fast in VR it would be a problem for most people. Add parkour to that and you will need a bucket next to your desk.
Also, Source 2 maybe?
Unlikely, since it'd likely be an Origin Exclusive and Source 2 games must be sold on steam.
I played the beta and had some fun with Titanfall, but never bought it because I'm more of a singleplayer person. I really enjoyed the aesthetic and the lore seemed like it had potential; I'm hoping they put some serious consideration into a decent campaign.
If they just include more customization options, like a whole lot more, then I'll be content.

first game I played on my Rift was Mirror's Edge. took me out for a few hours. but once you get your VR legs you never look back.
They're only just now starting development?
Source 2 hopefully like i said in my previous posts
They're only just now starting development?
They said a while back that they wanted to work on a new IP or something like that, so they've probably been doing that.

I'm really hoping multiplat includes Steam as a platform, but I realize how minimal the chances of that happening are and my hopefulness is just gradually shifting to hopelessness.
Advanced Warfare to me felt like it did everything titanfall wanted to do, better. aside from mech fighting possibly
titanfall got old quick
Hopefully it has a real single player campaign.
The First Titanfall really shortened its life cycle by being strictly multiplayer.
I imagine it'll be unplayable in about 2-3 years.

I would honestly rather they abandon any type of "campaign" and just make more maps, titans, weapons, content in general really. The campaign added nothing to the experience, and IMO it probably wouldn't add much even if it was good. It's a really solid multiplayer game that was simply lacking in content on launch. There are plenty of other multiplayer only games that flourish because they don't even bother with the singleplayer/campaign crap.

Sounds like it's part of the experience if you ask me :v:
Joking aside I wouldn't mind trying that actually.

Pretty sure that is only when you use the free version of the engine, though. You can probably get a license for the engine to put it on whatever distribution platform you like.
Let's hope they'll bring a proper campaign mode. The art design is so good, such a shame they didn't use a lot of assets for storytelling.

It didn't do netcode right.
Beyond the fact that it had issues with connectivity on release, it still has the problem all CoDs have had since at least 4 where your playermodel lags stupidly far behind what you're actually doing.
