Honestly, it feels like this is a game that doesn't really know what' it's trying to be. Kinda like it's confused whether it wants to be super kiddy and silly and whether it wants darker more contrasting humor. And the whole "Batman" IP feels tacked on, rather than actually having anything to do with the game.
You could have completely gotten rid of the whole Batman thing and just called it some other zany wacky shooter game.

Yea I get that. But what I'm saying it's like putting all the characters in TF2 in batman suits and saying that they're pretending to be batman.
It ought to reference batman a little more rather than just having ghetto-rigged grappling hooks.

I think it's basically something that the studio probably wouldn't be able to do if it wasn't part of the Batman IP, funding-wise, since it's releasing while Arkham City and Dark Knight Rises is fresh in everyone's mind.
I love the concept of this game and the title picture made me smile. It's great when devs try something new.

This is one of the better games I'm going to play this year for sure. It's really funny.

The game was p. good when i tested it out in the closed beta.
This actually seems like it would be pretty fun. But if they could tweak the animations for running while shooting a bit so it doesn't look all Bioshock 2 Multiplayer, I'll be happier. Actually, it does look a bit like Bioshock 2 MP now that I think about it.

You should see the XBL marketplace. There's literally at least 20 DLC items for this game.
Out of 100 there it must've taken up 60% of it, it literally over shadowed Rock Band in terms of DLC in a day.

What's wrong with bloody good time?
Sure it doesn't have players but the bots are superb.
I got it on sale for 5 dollars and I totally think it was worth it.
All of the DLC is cheap, the only ones that aren't cosmetic are the [i]permanent[/i] experience point boosts, and they are still cheap.
I can't tell if the game is fun yet cause the matchmaking doesn't fucking work.
All I know is that the trailer was amazing. If they turned that into a cartoon show or something I would be watching.

Try the fumigation mode. It's really fun and provides the best matchmaking results for me. Been in at least a dozen rounds after I switched to that from TDM.
I got this. Apart from the bad matchmaking troubles ive been getting, and certain classes and character combos being near impossible to kill, It really is quite a fun game.
Hopefully they will fix some of the issues, and it will get more of a following.
