Ive been pondering jailbreaking my 3rd gen Ipod for a while but i still have alot of questions about how i can do so and what the pros and cons are.
Some of the questions are:
1.Can i jailbreak it with ISO 4?
2. Can i jailbreak a 3rd gen model?
3. Will jailbreaking affect my battery life?
4. What are the pros to jailbreaking?
5. Are there any cons to jailbreaking ?
6. What software do i use to jailbreak?

Go there on your iPod Touch, and slide.
Some info. on jailbreak is also on that site.
Just jailbreak, it's near impossible to brick your iTouch. If you somehow screw up the process of sliding the bar thing, you can restore via iTunes.

there really are no cons to jailbreaking, but there is so much you can do, just be careful about what you install via cydia.
I can't really slide the button on the website.
it's because Apple patched the PDF exploit that allowed that site to work. Have to use some other way and I don't know about any of the other jailbreakers out there.
how can they patch it without releasing an update? Can't that be counted as invasion of privacy, especially after they made jail breaking Legal

oh and I'm sure I have 4.0.2, I upgraded to OS4 after they changed the bars, but info on the ipod just says 4.0
iPod didn't get te update because it doesn't have signal bars
Didn't it get the 4.0.2 update which patched the PDF-exploit?
