Has this game been fixed yet? I still haven't picked this up because I'm not exactly running a high-end rig anymore, and it's apparently really bad on older cards. Anyone tried running it on a 650 Ti or a 6870? I can live with low/medium settings, but if even minimum settings will get me <30fps, or if it crashes constantly, why bother?

It runs like shit regardless. Don't even waste any money on it.
if you want to buy it don't buy it on PC, whoever ported it is ass (it's on the Unreal Engine ffs, how the fuck?)
otherwise I played through it and it was pretty amazing. more or less what you'd expect from rocksteady's batman games.
After hearing about how poorly this runs on PC I'm actually considering getting a PS4 to play this.
It finally runs well on my PC, but then again I have a beast and I still get some framerate issues sometimes so, overall it's not completely fixed yet.
They probably won't even bother with anymore optimizations and instead keep pumping out dlc. Gotta milk that cow somehow.
At least it's got +100 $ worth of DLC.

I wouldn't, it's not even the best Batman game.
if it where fixed I would but it
Bahahahaha. No.
Does it still run like ass?
The patch made it worse.

Warner is the best publisher of 2015
:v:
Honestly, if your going to get it, just get it on the Xbox One or PS4
Those who pre-ordered are invited to request a refund? Shouldn't it just be fucking given to them, no questions asked? They pre-ordered a product, the product is no longer going to be made, why the fuck would you not automatically refund them. Oh right, warner.

buying a console just to buy a singular games just not a good idea

It isn't but the ps4 does have some nice games he could buy with it

That's what I thought when AK came out....that's why I got it on PC.....so....
It's just so sad, the previous batman games were good, and now we have this...thing

Oh, the game is good, it's just the PC port that sucks

Sadly its difficult to recommend even then. It's nice if you're into collect-a-thons but honestly they took the great part about Arkham (the stealth action gameplay) and put it in the backseat to show off the fucking batmobile. The way Arkham Knight plays out, it makes you wonder how batman got along without one at all.
If there is ONE reason I can recommend the game its purely for [sp]Mark Hamill's smashing fucking performance as Joker.[/sp]
Game is great if you can run it, especially if you can run it well. Honestly I wouldn't even risk it with anything less than 16gb DDR3 ram and a 4th gen i5.
I'm not going to advocate pirating but this is really a game you should try before you buy.
If there was a demo, it could really help them sell this game

Well it can always be refunded, and they allow refunds regardless of playtime with Arkham Knight (or they did, dunno if they still do).

Neither is Arkham City and that was a good game worth playing.
Heard Arkham Knight wasn't that good tho
Even if you get the game running I don't think its particularly that good.
Weakest of the Arkham series honestly.

Worse than Origins? Or does that just not even count?
Worse than Origins? Or does that just not even count?
Never played Origins but AK has some questionable design choices.
I'm not going to bash on mandatory batmobile sections because I actually enjoyed them and thought they were fun while others despised them but the Arkham Knight and Deathstroke boss fights are the exact same tank battle.
Also with the batmobile, you have to wait for a lock on to take out a cobra's(super armored tank) weak spot even if you are firing exactly at it while zoomed in so it's just the tank version of sneaking up behind an enemy until you can get close enough for a takedown
Worse than Origins? Or does that just not even count?
Yeah I'd say it is.
My biggest gripe with it is that it feels like a massive step backwards from City.
The Arkham Knight plot is very predictable, All the side villains, Deathstroke, Two Face, Penguin, (ect.) are locked behind repetitive side quests that aren't nearly as interesting as side content in the past.
Deacon Blackfire gets a total of about 5 minutes about them before batman beats them up and completes that sidequest entirely.
The addition of the bat mobile is pretty cool for getting around and puzzle solving, but when you get into a tank fight with it, which happens a lot, it gets very repetitive very fast, you don't get a lot of options with the batmobile fights and there are a lot of them.
Putting that on top of its miserable PC port, which is still mostly broken...
Its pretty sub par to me.
