He turned himself into a fucking coffee mug. Suddenly I'm interested in this game.
This game is definitely creative but watching this trailer it makes me feel like it's not a very fun game - definitely creative but it looks like it'll train you to attack random furniture. That works for e.g. Prop Hunt but this is for a single player game where you're going through a huge station apparently. I also don't really get any style or vibe or anything from what's shown - the only thing that got a reaction out of me was the fact that you apparently modify yourself by stabbing a needle in your eye. Also, that you can turn into e.g. a mug is neat and all but I feel like that can't be explained story-wise if you're a human. At least the aliens have an unknown organism they can explain it away with? If it was more mystical, maybe, but they seem to push a strong technological vibe judging by the electricity and what not around you use those powers and the fact that you have to modify something in your brain. Just seems like a ton of ideas went into it but no actual thought into how to make it all connect which will ultimately make it forgettable. At least that's what I'm gathering from the trailer.
If prophunt isn't a multiplayer mode this game is worthless
looks okay, but I'm getting a very bioshock-y vibe and I can't say I enjoyed any of the bioshock games. with luck it'll feel more like system shock though.
Looks fantastic. The fabricator system seems interesting. Anyone else the Looking Glass references?
