Sorry if this should be in Video Games, but it seems to be a straightforward question:
I bought Men of War earlier this year from Gamersgate when it was released early. Since then, it has been added to Steam. I know they are the same game in every way, but the new expansion (Which is standalone I think), Red Tide is slightly cheaper on Steam than on Gamersgate. Gamersgate downloads the game to a directory and then you install it as if off a disk. I was wondering if the two games have any kind of merging like in Company of Heroes (New units on old maps and the such) and if they do, if the Gamersgate version would be compatible with the Steam Red Tide?
It's standalone, no.
So it's a completely separate game and the only difference is the singleplayer? I suppose the multiplayer is just everything from Men of War + New Red Tide Content?
