Dragon's Dogma may get 'new play elements' as DLC - Sensationalist Headlines

I kind of hate the pumping of DLC but Dragons Dogma is a great game and I don't think its getting enough attention.

Well, the quest DLCs were a bit boring due to the lack of variation. Kill X, Find Y and follow this generic guy. Some new gameplay elements would definitly spice up the game, so far the game has been a blast.

Dragon's Dogma is amazing. Can't wait to see how this game takes off

Haven't even bothered with any of the (crappy, thus far) DLC and I have an ungodly amount of hours invested in this game. If they release something substantial I'll snap it up.

Is the combat in this game fun? Is it anything like Dark Souls?

Combat is extremely good, but it gets wayyyy too easy after the first few hours. Basically as you learn the ropes and start with a weak character, you'll get killed a LOT by everything. Then you level up, learn your enemies, and combat becomes trivial. As for how the game plays, it's actually quite similar to a "spectacle fighter" like Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry, with a few pinches of Monster Hunter.

Why is it [b]may[/b] get new "play elements"? There has better be some actually good DLC, I'm hoping for something challenging once you get past level 70 because once you're past that level pretty much nothing can touch you with the exception of the Ur-Dragon (who isn't fun to fight whatsoever) despite the level cap being 200.

i stopped playing this because of the horrible framerate (on ps3) i'd be lucky if I got 25 fps.

I really liked the walking. I hope they will add a new part of the map, at first it felt quite big but the game is not that big.
