http://store.steampowered.com/news/26627/
Nice to see the Witcher in the top 12 a year after it came out.
NMS at the top lmfao
NMS at the top lmfao
Well it is the top 100 Sellers, so it is based on total revenue. I wonder if they take refunds into account. [editline]1st January 2017[/editline] Hey Garry's Mod is in there.
Glad to see hit man there. As well as siege
Man, Terraria is still on the top 100, that's ridiculous considering it came out 5 and half years ago or so.

DayZ sold better than Infinite Warfare? Oh boy :v: [editline]1st January 2017[/editline] Good to see Dying Light: The Following up there. That shit really deserves recognition.
i was gonna question how free-to-play games were included in this since they're free, but i realized they must also be accounting for micro-transactions and the like, which is cool I guess but also kind of feels like cheating
Tbh its actually kind of sad to see no mans sky in it when you really think about it it ultimately doesn't deserve the attention it got
NMS at the top lmfao
I have a hunch it's in "top refunds" too but those copies are counted here because they're technically still sales.
It's nice to see Siege doing so well after the shakey launch. Good on the devs for sticking with it and actually improve the game dramatically during the last year. Some pretty good games in the top sellers in general, even if a few in the lower brackets deserve way more sales tan they already have. [sp]*cough*Rimworld*cough*[/sp]
Glad to see games like Stardew Valley and Factorio managed to place in the top 100. Both of them really deserved it.
Man, Terraria is still on the top 100, that's ridiculous considering it came out 5 and half years ago or so.
Terraria still has fairly meaty updates. The 1.3.4 update was a Dungeon Defenders crossover event and that released in November as well. 1.3.1, 1.3.2, and 1.3.3 all released this year as well. And while none of them were quite as big as the 1.3 update they all still had some pretty noticeable additions and changes.
NMS and The Division are at the very top as a glowing testament that "stop fucking preordering vaporwave" hasn't been said enough Curious how Dota 2 is also there. Crazy how it gets more revenue yearly than some games do in their first year.
you'd think valve would have more than 15 people pumping out anemic updates on a game they rank as gold for revenue (TF2)

The game wasn't great when it came out, yeah, but since then they've released some huge patches and additions, changed some of the core gameplay, balanced out a lot of things, and their recent DLC was pretty damn good IMO. Are you just hating on it based on the launch because it sounds like you haven't checked up on it recently. It's still not the best game but it's far from bad now and shouldn't be lumped in with NMS and its garbage :v:

A shoddy launch can fuck a game over for the rest of it's lifetime regardless of how good it will end up.
