• Is it possible to run GTA 4 on my iMac?

I bought a new iMac recently, and because it's amazing compared to my PC, I was wondering that if I ran boot camp, would I be able to install and play GTA 4 well? iMac Specs: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce 9400 (256MB VRAM if that means anything.) Thanks.
I think the GPU is a little too weak for the game. So is the CPU.
Well that sucks. Thanks anyway.
I think it should run, although you don't have a lot of VRAM (I have a 320mb 8800GTS and have to run everything on low because of it). I should think it'd be playable with a lower draw distance.

My MacBook runs it on medium settings on max resolution with 10 fps, which I find playable. My specs are a little worser than yours.
I managed to get it running on a '07 iMac on medium, but with a raped draw distance at 20 FPS.
you can exchange parts on a mac?
nope, but you can "build to order" with all the limited options offered by Apple!
you can exchange parts on a mac?
Only the MacPro, which starts at $2800
you can exchange parts on a mac?
Sorry, what I did was on a PC. It isn't possible on an iMac because it's basically all one massive circuit board. The only things you can easily replace are the Hard Drive and RAM.
No. My PC counterpart: 3.0GHz C2D 4GB DDR2 HD4870 512mb It has trouble running GTA4 past 20FPS. The 9400M is nice but it's not an HD4870, I doubt the game will even run.
