This isn't descriptive enough...are you looking to get a new build? If so, what is your maximum budget, which country do you live in, and do you prefer Windows 7 or Windows 8 (or are indifferent)?
Uh, here's my build I guess if that's what you're asking for
Intel Core i5-3330 Processor
MSI B75A-G43 Motherboard
Corsair CX500 Power Supply
BitFenix Shinobi Case
Western Digital Blue 500GB Hard Disk
Some Lite-On disc drive
EVGA GTX 650 Ti Graphics Card
I don't know what the point of this thread is, otherwise.
As the guy above me said. If this is what you want here is my current pile-o-shit build
AMD X6 1045T CPU
MSI 870-G45 Motherboard
Thermaltake TR2600 Power supply
WD 500gb HDD
Intel 300gb SSD
Coolermaster Scout Case
Geforce 560SE Gfx card.
NZXT H2 (Black)
Corsair HX750
Intel Motherboard (I forgot which one and I'm NOT bothering looking :v:)
Intel i5 2500k
1.5TB HDD
EVGA GTX 660 TI

But really, PC Building is for people looking for help. I just felt like going with the wave
Just got an old Custom Albatron Desktop System for free and upgraded it for $20.
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1.53GHz
RAM: 1.5GB of DDR400 Ram (3 DDR slots so 3GB DDR400 Maximum)
GPU :PowerColor Radeon AG3650 512MB Graphics card
Motherboard: ECS L7S7A2
OS: Windows XP Pro
It's pretty much my only system that runs my games properly after my now dead HP DV6 (I know, it had shit cooling and dust inside).
Game Rig:
CPU: i5-2400 3.1 @ 3.4 GHz
RAM: 8 GB DDR3-1600
GPU: HD5870 1 GB
OS: Windows 7 Professional
Drives:
2 x 1 TB ST1000DM003 (RAID0)
2 x 640 GB WD Green (RAID1)
1 x 500 GB WD Green (Mybook External)
Game Server:
CPU: i5-750 2.66 @ 2.8 GHz
RAM: 16 GB DDR3-1333
GPU: GF8600GT 256M
OS: Fedora 18 64 bit
Drive: 1 TB Seagate
Router:
CPU: A8-5600k 3.6 @ 4.0 GHz
RAM: 4 GB DDR3-1600
GPU: HD7650D
OS: Fedora 18 64 bit
Media Server:
CPU: C2D E8400 3.0 GHz
RAM: 4 GB DDR2-1066
GPU: GF8800GTS G92 512M
OS: Fedora 18 64 bit
And some misc older boxes, many of which have been given away/sold cheaply to less fortunate people.
Oh. We're doing all the computers now? Guess I'll redo mine at some point :v:
Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus (case)
ASRock M3A770DE (Socket AM3, Max 16GB DDR3 RAM)
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T (CPU)
Corsair something and a goofy Icidu RAM stick (total 6 GB)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB (HDD)
ASUS Radeon 6670, wondering if it's reliable or not.
Cooler Master GX lite 600w.
My current laptop:
Dell Inspiron 1545 (Model PP41L)
Western Digital Blue 320GB
2 GB of RAM, because one of the sticks are dislodged and I'm lazy to open it up and get it re-attached.
ATI Mobility Radeon 4300
And a Intel Pentium Dual Core CPU.
What is the point of this thread anyway?
PC:
CPU: C2D E8500 @ 4.2GHZ.
RAM: 4GB Dane Elec DDR3 ram.
MOBO: Intel Extreme DP45SG (Only supports 4gb ram or 8gb very specific double sided ram)
GPU: AMD Radeon 6950 1gb.
PSU: Be Quiet 450Watt (Yes this is a quality PSU)
Kinda sucks waiting for Haswell to come out. Shogun 2, The witcher 2 and some other games are severely CPU bottlenecked now.
Planetside 2 runs surprisingly well for an ancient C2D, also responds really well to OC ing.
Laptop:
CPU: i5 480
RAM: 8gb ddr3
GPU: AMD 5650 1gb

RAM: 8 GB DDR3-1600
GPU: HD7950 3GB
PSU: Corsair TX650

Guess I should do it properly this time..

Then he got lucky. It wont work with single sided 2gb sticks.
About 2 years ago these where standard, but now 2gb sticks are all single sided (6 chips) instead of 12.
It also tells you in the specs it wont work. (my bios is the latest version btw)

It's probably due to the density of the memory chips. Older memory controllers have problems with high density memory chips and require low density memory modules, which is why larger memory modules back then had RAM on both sides to the module.
You can still get low density and high capacity memory modules, usually directly from the memory manufacturers website.

Yeah I tried a few, some dont have any and the rest asks a ridiculous ammount of money for them.
Id rather wait for a new LGA 1150 mobo when it comes out.
