I haven't played her yet but it seems like the general view on anarchy is that its pretty OP and makes things much easier.
I haven't played her yet but it seems like the general view on anarchy is that its pretty OP and makes things much easier.
Anarchy lowers your accuracy but increases your damage by 1.75% for both stats on every gun. It's best with Hyperion guns because you still have great accuracy after firing for a little while. However, once you get 150 stacks, you're about as inaccurate as a Hyperion shotgun without shooting. Not to mention prematurely reloading your gun also drops every stack.
Oh damn, that's deep. I just looked at it and was like 'oh, this will help me and my friends out!' Maybe I'll respec after a get a few more skill points though
The Mechromancer class is ridiculously well designed, beyond the novel Easy-Medium-Hard tree choices. She has more gamechanger abilities than the other classes and her skills are just more interesting.
I was just playing as her, Anarchy is pretty nice. It would be a lot worse if it deteriorated over time, though. Deathtrap is pretty unnerving. He just moves through walls like it was nothing and just stands there and stares at you when he has massacred everything.
I like her LittleBigTrouble tree, but if I have trouble, guess I'll go BFF. The whole "difficulty = skill tree" thing really makes sense. I looked at her ordered chaos tree and wondered "how the hell are you suppossed to be effective with that?" I hope Gearbox does more classes in a similar manner to her. She has some really cool abilities, definitely game changing to say the least.
the bff tree is ridonkulously overpowered, which is nice because BL2 can get really really hard. [editline]13th October 2012[/editline] also gaige is goddamn adorable.
I kinda wanted to be focused on using DT, but its kind of annoying that its considered the easy route :/
I started a Mechromancer playthrough and Gaige is now my favorite character, both story- and gameplay-wise. Deathtrap is a goddamn powerhouse and I haven't even upgraded him yet.
I kinda wanted to be focused on using DT, but its kind of annoying that its considered the easy route :/
I went with it since it seemed to be the tree that supported DT the most, and because I naturally am attracted to survival/tanking.
I'm not sure about you guys but I think this should have been included in the game from the start. I just bought the game for around 25 euros and I don't feel like paying another 10 Euros for this. Sure, I don't have to buy it.. But yeah, could have been a little cheaper then.

Ordered chaos requires thinking? I just grab a torgue shotgun and do jumpshots all the time.

I don't like some of her dialogs though. "I am SUCH a BA." Sounds unnecessarily bratty and spoiled to me.
well... she IS bratty and spoiled, if you listened to her echocasts on youtube.
i want to cum on gaiges face
she's like 15/16. have fun with your 20 years in prison (i'll be right there with you)

The funny thing is that playing as Gaige went from pt1 being super OP'd and it feeling like easy mode, thus resulting in me being way underleveled for pt2 and it suddenly changing to hard mode. So without even respeccing I've got to experience different difficulty levels!
it wasn't finished when the game launched, came out close to a month later and pre-orders got it free
Okay, thanks for letting me know. I haven't really been that interested in Borderlands 2 until now and I thought the mechromancer DLC was released only days after the game was released.
Keep on paying full game price for COD "nostalgic maps" then.
Sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by this, what does it have to do with anything? I was simply saying I would have wanted this class to be in the game from the start. What is dumb about wanting the class to be in the game when it is released?
What is dumb about wanting the class to be in the game when it is released?
Well to start the character wasn't finished upon release of the game, it's free if you preordered the game, they released the character 1 or more months ahead of schedule. Why should additional content that wasn't completed when the base game was release be free? You had your chance to get it for free by preordereding.
Well to start the character wasn't finished upon release of the game, it's free if you preordered the game, they released the character 1 month ahead of schedule.
1 week* she was supposed to come out the 16th, she came out the 9th.
1 week* she was supposed to come out the 16th, she came out the 9th.
Well, originally when everyone had pre-ordered, it had said 60-90 days after launch, so it came out much much sooner than expected.
Well, originally when everyone had pre-ordered, it had said 60-90 days after launch, so it came out much much sooner than expected.
Yeah, that's what I remembered. Which is why I said a month ahead of schedule.
Spec into all 3 trees for maximum EZ mode and OP-ness.
I don't understand the point of balancing in a single player game. Isn't the point of the end game being able to rape everything you see with your maxed out skills and crazy good loot?
I don't understand the point of balancing in a single player game.
