Well I have HAF 922, and as you saw from my other thread I was buying a new PSU. It's coming Wednesday, and well its designed to be put at the bottom of the case, but I have a carpet. So, I am scared that it will overheat from suffocating or something, and would like to know your opinion on this? And the fan will be pointing towards the floor.
You should be fine. The HAF 922 has good cooling.
Use a few CD cases or DVD cases and prop up the case if you're worried
What about his worried?
My cousin has a system that she keeps in a room with carpet. I put a piece of metal underneath it so she'd stop calling me to clean it all the time.
my case has a psu dust filter :smug: so i just keep it on carpet
I sit my pc on some books to keep it a few inches off the floor.
I have a dust filter too

PSU fans blow out, ad in the haf 922, the PSU isn't mounted directly on the floor, its actually elevated a litle bit so it should be fine
I sit on my pc and read books to keep my few inches off the floor
Urm massive grammatical error? Or just.. being sarlcastic..
Cant you put the PSU the other way up so it sucks air in from the inside?
Urm massive grammatical error? Or just.. being sarlcastic..
Stop with the irony, it hurts my eyes. And OP, it should be fine. Worst that'll happen is a little dust gets stuck in it, which ignites and it smells burnt.
