Don't see the point in them pricing this so high then sticking a shitty limit on it. If I were to feel like I was getting use out of this it would be through streaming video or something, but that would drain the 500mb allowance.
Up to 12Mbps? and they call that 4G?
Over here they're promoting "Up to 40Mbps", and even that doesn't come close to proper 4G speeds (1Gbps)

I'm lucky to get 120 kb/s over here in the UK on a 3G signal. I have my doubts whether they'll actually meet their up to 12mbps claim.

Australia's 4g network has 1-2gb mobile limits and most provide free social networking.
