Got a new computer as a gift, how will it run Gmod? - Hardware & Software

A put a thread up a few days ago that revealed the story of my past rig being burnt down due to a house fire. Yesterday was my birthday and i got this as a gift. Give OSX a try when you aren't gaming, you might like it.

OSX can not play direct x games so not one of my favorite OS's. Also if you max it out you should get around 30~40 ish fps.

Cosmic i love OSX im glad i got a mac, im aiming to be a film editor, im in a Final Cut Pro certification course and i got the new FCP studio with this mac. Honestly i wish OSX could play games as windows does, if it did then there would be no reason for windows.

30 fps is fine imo

I just tried that and all I got was a lot of lag. complete specs: core 2 duo 2.0ghz 9400m (XP reads 512mb of shared memory) 4gb RAM DDR3 Windows XP 32-bit
