Hello facepunch, I need your help.
My dad is getting a computer, and he has asked for my help in choosing one.
I know a decent amount about computers, but I'm no genius.
I am hoping I can get a decent desktop, with a monitor included.
Also, I'm hoping it will at least be able to play some games. The best graphics card I've ever had is an Integrated GeForce 6200, It would be nice to play something more advanced than half-life.
It has to be in the price range of £500/$800, and ship to Britain.
Your help is greatly appreciated guys, I can't wait to finally play STALKER soon!
-snip, newegg doesn't ship to uk-

Will no-one help me?
Build it? You should be able to get something rather good if you build it.

I don't know how to do that, I just want a pre-made desktop.
Same specs for a prebuilt and a homebuilt, homebuilt will be about 100 dollars/euros/pounds/insertcurrencyhere cheaper. Homebuilt is not hard. Read through this:http://lifehacker.com/5151369/the-first+timers-guide-to-building-a-computer-from-scratch
learning to build a PC is well worth your time, it can save you a lot of money
Youtube has shitloads of video tutorials on how to build a computer.
If you can put a Lego kit together from instructions you can build a PC
