I would like to know some good games, of any type, with a lot of hours of gameplay
especially for pc
Obligatory Skyrim.
RPG games can certainly take hundreds of hours away, try looking some up.
Mount and Blade, Paradox Grand Strategy titles, Fallout series.
Any turn-based strategy game. The new Total War: Rome II that is being released tomorrow is gonna be an excellent game to pick up that you can waste away in front of.
A game for the future would have to be Prison Architect. You can lose hours in it now but when it is done it will probably suck your life away. Just something to keep your eyes in.
Any of the civilisation games.
Dwarf Fortress, Space Station 13, and Mount and Blade (especially Napoleonic Wars DLC for Warband).
The Witcher series is pretty long. the first one is ~50 hours (with all sidequests) or ~30 hours (main story). The second one can range anywhere between 20-60 hours. My only warning is that they're a bit demanding specs-wise and HUGE (18 gb each).
Anno 1404/2070
Pretty much all the GTA games if you take your time with it
Project Reality matches last between 1 to 4 hours at a time.
LA Noire is 30+ hours if you've never played it before
Or The Sims, since it never ends
Civ 5
Persona 4 will take at least 60 hours.
Dark Souls is pretty time consuming, as long as you get passed the GFWL. It'll be shut down eventually and DkS will switch over to Steamworks (supposedly), so it'll be worth it anyway.
i hope GTA V will be larger.
The most annoying part about getting 100% in GTA IV, is that you have to find 200 fucking pigeons
The Half-Life series?
Just Cause 2
If you literally need to kill long periods of time and only have a laptop to do it with - Dwarf Fortress.
It's not the most exciting. Getting started is like learning a new craft. It can take a long time to do much. But it's engaging. It's deep. And by the time you've engraved some walls and figured out why one of the Dwarfs is throwing her clothes at everyone, you'll notice that eight hours are gone and that someone is calling, worried about you. :v:
Also, Faster Than Light, Binding of Issac, and Doom: The Roguelike are all games that have infinite, randomly-generated sessions that usually last around 15-45 minutes. Sometimes 5 if you're unlucky.
wurm
ruenscape

Maybe if you're doing all of the challenges but the game took me like 10 hours to complete.
