I'm looking for a laptop in the price range 900-1400USD, which will run at medium/high settings on games such as bad company 2, MW2, ME2 and so on.
While I'll probably accept buying it from pretty much any reliable place in the world, it'll have to be able to ship to Norway.
(if it has to be shipped internationally, please check if that's possible. Last couple of nice laptops I've seen couldn't ship outside US.)
if possible, I'd like the shipping to not blow the price range.
tl;dr-ish:
900-1400USD, must be able to get to Norway, BC2, MW2, ME2 at decent settings, must be possible to travel a bit with. (No unbearable weight, some power savings settings mode would be great.)
Any help would be appreciated, and I hope help with laptops is appropriate in this section.

If it is of any help, here's a Norwegian site which lists laptops. In NOK, the price range would be in the 5000-7500 and 7500-10000 category.

Looks beautiful!
Unless I get any other recomendations the next 24h or so, that'll probably be what I'm buying.
Thanks a lot

Same price as that one, just worst
If he's going to walk around with it, then I wouldn't recommend that one... If he wants to have sex and play games with... Just get it already!
What? Just shut up? That is a small compact laptop thats bloody amazing.
Get it. He doesnt want a netbook

18.4 inch isn't really small.
It would not even fit in any normal Laptop bag.
Its a great laptop but I wont reccomend it for school or annything.
Get a 15 inch for that.
Wow Derlicious WTF? It's 18.4" goddammit! For the other part; IF it was a small compact laptop, how fast would it run out of power?
I guess you were just sarcastic, but still... WTF..
He said he wants to use it for gaming. Running games like BF2 on high settings is hard for a netbook
My macbook pro fits in my bag for school.
Bigger than that.
Was looking for a compromise between power and being able to travel with. While being a bit bad at the latter, I find this to be ok. Priority is gaming I guess.
I don't agree with this being a "small compact laptop", though I see no reason to start a discussion. I think it'll suit my needs very well.
Thanks again.
It will be portable its just not a little notebook
It's 4.6 kilograms, that's not light. And that GFX will consume power like a hungry beast, so it's not gonna be very portable. I understand if he wants to game with it, I do to on my laptop, but a smaller laptop means smaller screen and therefore smaller resolution. When the resolution is smaller, you'll only need a less powerfull GFX, and with that comes more portability. Even if his first priority is gaming, he'll need to plug it in everytime he uses it... Derlicious I'm not dumb, this will eat power like a beast. I suggests he gets a all-around laptop as he stated in the OP, and this is for what I see mostly a gaming-orientated laptop...
Unless youre actually going to be taking it around places then you should get a desktop.
Agreed^
