Hi Im thinking of buying Ipad and i would like to know which is better and why and which is more recommended, Ipad2 or Ipad3. I read somewhere there were some problems with Ipad3 with Wi-Fi. Is that true, and if it is, is there any plans for a fix or something? Thanks :)
I have the Ipad 3 + a 4s in the same spot and they have the exact same signal and almost the same speed via speed test so thats not been an issue for me. Heat wise I have only really had it feel "hot" when its been in my case, or if im playing a game like beat hazzard for a long time, takes like 5 mins if that to "cool" if it gets hot so agian not a massive issue. I have had the 16gb wifi for just over 2 weeks now and I personally think its worth the money. Any other issues people have reported I havn't seen what so ever Really it comes down to what you want, if you just want a basic tablet with 3G then the Ipad 2 would most probs be better, however if you are really after the display and the changes then get the new one. I would have brought the 2 most probs if I wasn't able to teather it to my phone for internet, so really the 2 vs 3 comes down to your own needs and funds.
thanks for the reply :) well, i have more questions... Do you have more programs and apps available for newer version of iPad? Can it be used for school, like i would like to take it to school and write on it instead of my regular notebooks? Does it have good writing programs or is it the same as does iPod touch has? (I have it so i know about that) and is the keyboard on it big enough or is it small? Is audio good when recording video in HD on newest Ipad or does it suck? Is quality of the sound understandable or is it not? Ive read iPad has only 10 hour of battery life, is it true or not? becouse that is basicly the only thing that is keeping me from buying it, becouse i like my devices to last atleast two days, while using them for atleast 3 hours daily (games, videos or music, atleast one of those is beeing used the whole time i'm on the device) :) Best regards :)
trust me get the ipad 2 16gb. in essence, the ipad 3 is just the ipad 2 with a faster processor, better screen and more ram. if you don't need them aka if you are ok with a 1024 x 768 screen and a A5 processor and 512mb ram ( a combination which still screams along and is still very decent ), ipad 2's more affordable and suitable. and "only 10 hour of batt life bro let me tell you 10 hours on a tablet is one of the best you can get. i am sure it can last for at least 2-3 days on a full charge with with 3 hours of games/music/video daily. [editline]12th April 2012[/editline] all apps support both ipad 2 and 3. the keyboard is big but frankly nothing beats typing on a proper real keyboard or writing on paper.
After seeing the screen on the new iPad, the old ones look downright horrible. Also the 1GB of RAM really helps performance on iOS 5. A lot of the complaints about stutter issues with spotlight search and the settings application are due to lack of RAM. It's pretty much non existent on the new iPad.
I have an iPad 3 and never had issues with WiFi, and I've never heard anyone else complain about it? Usually you'd hear about mass complaints like that about Apple on FP. Also the iPad 3 stomps the iPad 2 because of the screen alone. I couldn't go back.
I have the iPad 3 and no WiFi issues here either, and the screen looks absolutely amazing. This is the first tablet device I've owned and I really like it, I'm hoping it won't be long for the jailbreak to be released.
Thanks for all the reply :) So, question, would I be able to make good videos with newest Ipad? Becouse i like recording stuff and later editing it, and so far i didn't get hd videos to edit and would really like to try it out. That is why i was also asking about the sound of the recording (quality of it) so if anyone has tried it before, could you tell me about it :) I'm thinking about a recording outside so sound would allready be scattered around and if anyone can try it out with a small mic on the wearer, like news reporter or something and then get back to with the results, like if the mic was helpfull and audio was very good and stuff, I would appreciate it. (I'm not forcing anyone, just politly asking if anyone is willing to help me out ) Another question, about speakers, are they loud when put to maximum or are they just useless? Thanks for the replys again, to all you guys :) Best regards
Never actually recorded anything using the camera, however pictures look brilliant on it, the speakers do go loud, however I dont have a need for them to go that high
Pictures and video are very good for a tablet. It's a huge improvement from its predecessor as well.
