• Decent laptop needed: £400/$600 budget

Hey! I'm looking for a laptop for general use and school and I have no idea as to what the price ranges are for laptops. I want something with a little more power than your average home laptop, say maybe an i5 or at least an i3. 3GB of RAM is a minimum as well as a half decent graphics card, just something that can play HD movies and maybe some old emulators or games. My budget is about £400 (which is about $610) but it could stretch a little more. Any ideas guys?
I'm not literate in the field of laptops, but I found this which may suit your needs: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230987 Again, I don't know about laptops, though I heard Asus is a good brand.

Well from PC specialist you could get a nice I3, 4Gb ram, 250GB hdd, Nvidia gt 635M but without OS for £450ish.
