I can only think of one reason why it sold so well.
is genital physics going to become the next big thing in videogames?
I think the "normalisation" of nudity is great thing but that game has horrible penis physics, it has no weight to it.

Also super static plastic titties.
Static as they don't move, or static in that they generate electricity? :v:

The rest of the physics are good right? In one of the trailers there was someone dragging a body by a rope and I thought that was a neat feature. Anyone play it? Good combat?

From what I've seen on Vinny Vinesauce stream it's a buggy mess with terrible connection problems.

Combat is awful in its current implementation, but it's apparently going to be revisited in the future of the early-access to make it more than just M1-spam.
The game's also pretty unstable at the moment, but they're transitioning over to a better server provider.
The game itself is a really good foundation and shows a lot of promise, but it's really rough around the edges in its current form.
Most interesting thing Conan Exiles has going on it is survival game with bunch of lore scattered around (some are quite lengthy audio files nearing 10min) and even "bosses" so it isn't fully your generic build block house and annoy your neighbor game like most survival games on steam.
