I hope it's not my psu, but after about an hour of use my pc will shutdown and restart by itself.
How can I check if my power supply has become faulty or if something else is the culprit?
if it's an instant reboot (No windows shutting down), then it's probably, or usally, the PSU
How old is your computer? Have you tried cleaning it? Worked for me once, hadn't cleaned it for like a year, and it started acting like that. I could be totally wrong, it could be other things. But this worked for me.
