Ok heres the deal.I have no phone cable in my room, or router. I need help with bridging the connection between my Xbox and my Pc, and once achieved, I need you tell me what to do.
What are you trying to achieve? Connecting Xbawx to internet or only to the PC (am not sure if the second is even useful for anything)?
I'm trying to connect my Xbawx to teh internets

D'oh. Bit late.
I've created a network bridge before (just select 2 connections in the networking control panel & right click for the option).. but I don't know if that works without a router. I think in order to get it working after bridging, I had to go to the cmd prompt & use 'ipconfig /renew' . That worked brilliantly, but again, I connected a non-wifi computer to my router through a laptop w/ wifi , so I don't know how that works without a router.
You can also use ICS (internet connection sharing) which might not work with xbox & also really sucks.
I have the 360 wireless adapter. Its so much nicer than when I was bridging my connections. Trust me just shell out the $80 and get it. But my situation was because the wireless card wasn't the best on this certain comp (not my gaming one). So it all depends on your computer.
Just use ICS if you really don't want to get the adapter. It works fine for me and I rarely ever have network problems.
Otherwise, try and find a used adapter somewhere, which will be significantly cheaper.
You have a few options:
1.) Man up, and buy the adapter.
2.) Buy the cheaper alternative, Linksys makes a Wireless Bridge adapter that plugs into the Ethernet jack, acting like a wireless device.
3.) Find out what chipset the 360's official USB wireless adapter uses, and buy a chep usb adapter with the same chipset.
4.) Ethernet. (Best option in most cases)
I found this cheap thing on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-gaming-Adapter-Controller-Receiver_W0QQitemZ250561711622QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Accessories?hash=item3a56a44e06
You could buy a Power line ethernet adapter.

...if you enjoy data loss, noise, and lost packets, sure! :D

That device is for connecting the controllers to a PC.
