• Samsung monitor with a PC and Xbox 360 5.1 speaker setup

Hey everyone, Basically, I've been running a Samsung 24" monitor for a while now with my PC hooked up via DVI and my 360 running through HDMI. I have seperate headphones for each system which I alternate between. I want to buy some a Logitech 5.1 Speaker kit now, due to the health of my ears. But what's confusing me is how to set them up. I don't want to have to switch inputs every time I use a different system. How would one go about setting it up? Are there any other peripherals I need to get it to work properly? Hope that made sense! Thanks
If I'm thinking correctly, you can just get an aux switcher or a rca switcher depending on which you need. http://www.amazon.com/Composite-Signal-Switch-cable-Clear/dp/B001AM1L6E I've used this one, it's cheap, but works.
Could connect your 360's audio to your computer's line-in.
There's also this option, if your monitor has RCA out: On the back of my TV is an audio out RCA and this is what I do. I'm going to take a guess that you have a pair or Turtle Beaches or something for the Xbox. Well, if your TV has audio out RCA ports, you can plug the RCA>3.5mm in there that came with your headset and any sound sent to the TV via currently active source will be ported out through there.

Right then, I've bought the speakers and they work fine with the PC. The amp has a stereo (white + red) input free which I can use for the 360. Unfortunately, Microsoft are a bit retarded and only left an s pdif input on the slim which I can use for digital 5.1 audio. REALLY simple question, but I need to go from an s pdif input onto the amplifier, but obviously I need a convertor for the stereo leads. Will I need a digital to analogue or vice versa converter? And will I get 5.1 surround by doing this?
