How does one setup a FTP server for a Wireless router ?

So, i wanted to setup a FTP server to practice my skills in server making.
But i can't find a straight forward answer
So here is the thing

Server--- WLANR-----PC 1 and PC2

WLANR- Wireless Router (LAN)

So i want to find a way to make the server work with the router in LAN.I am pretty sure it works the same but i am doubting this.If someone can help me then thanks (Also preferably a windows server based tutorial)

Use RDC to connect instead if your going that way. Easier and you will probably need to use it regardless to get something done.
