As the title says. I have tested with World in conflict (Complete edition) and CoD 4. I didnt read 'em. But when i tested with a disc from a magazine it worked. Why is it like this?
Yeah, I get the same problem with this too. I would like to know what it up.
Have you installed the drivers and flashed the BIOS? I had an identical problem where Data discs and some DVD's would work but the CoD4 discs would not work. I installed the drivers and flashed the bios at the same time and it works much better now.
How? Im an idiot when it comes to computers :downs:

Find out the name of your DVD drive and Google it along with drivers. You'll probably find what you're looking for.
I just checked the version and it says it has the latest version already. edit Can this be the name of the dvd drive?
-double post-
bump.
And you've flashed the BIOS?
And you've flashed the BIOS?
He doesn't need to touch his BIOS. In fact, since he doesn't know what he's doing there's a good chance he'd fuck something up. You won't be able to find drivers because the technology has become so standard nowadays that noone puts them for you to download. I'd say unplug the drive from the system and boot without it. Then replug it and let windows re-install the drivers itself. you might want a friend who knows what they're doing do this though.
