Uninstalled it a week ago, the game was dissapointing. No unique units until a dlc comes out? :fuckoff:
Dang money grubbing Creative Assembly! I'll buy your DLC, but I won't like the fact that I have to buy it...
They charge money to play as different factions now? I remember in Medieval 2 the only nation you couldn't play as was the Pope, Aztecs and Mongols. What the fuck are they doing charging money to unlock nations now?

Although CA should of released this DLC for free so everyone can enjoy its content, I suppose the price of the DLC is justified due to the typical length of Total War campaigns (taking your time in the long campaigns can take well over 10 hours I guess). The Ikko Ikki are certainly one of the "interesting" clans in Shogun 2, and being able to play as them will provide a rather unique experience. Already purchased it, and will start an Ikko Ikki campaign as soon as my Uesugi campaign is finished.
No unique units until a dlc comes out?
Well really, the only unique units available to the Ikko Ikki are the Ronin, and they aren't really unique as they are just Samurai without a clan. Besides, I at least pretend the clans have "unique" units based on the clan bonuses to certain units, such as the Bow units for the Chosokabe and Warrior Monks for the Uesugi. Well anyways it's not like many of the Japanese clans would of had unique military forces anyways, with the Bushido pretty much governing war in Feudal Japan, and probably most of the clans followed the Bushido.
What doesn't have a dlc these days?
Disappointing? Its the best Total War yet.
Yeah, it's great, but it just split the online gaming community into two. I assume you can't play with people who don't have the DLC and vise versa?
apparently you can still play with people who have the dlc

I'm assuming some of the re-balancing of some units in the recent major update was made to account for the new units in this DLC. Although it's dickish to charge your player base for the new units, $5 really isn't much to pay, honestly who can't pay $5? I'm betting many complaining on the price are probably doing so because they don't have credit/debit cards.
The really dickish thing they do is they already have the DLC in your game, it's just that you have to pay money to unlock something you already have. It'd be like if you got a magic chest or something in a game, but to open it you have to buy a key from somewhere else. Thankfully as far as I am aware this hasn't been done yet. wait
there was also a huge fuss on the total war forums about them disabling some stuff for the modders so they can't add new units. This game isn't the best Total War, tho. Units are very similar to eachother, AI cheats by taking units out of his ass, even when he's out of money. Well, back to Medieval 2. Or Rome.

Medieval 2 is fun, sure, but it's insanely unbalanced and features the fucking pope.

Or assassinate the pope. Or shoot loads of catapults at the pope when the pope battles with you for control of Rome.
Empire is best.
Attack of the clones? That's the downfall of SEGA/Creative Assembly if anything. Medival 2 + Kingdoms and/or Shogun 2 to this day are the best.
Rome 2 is gonna be best though, and you know its gonna happen.
