Me and my mates want to host a minecraft server for us to play one (8 players max)
As we are buying a server we thought why not make it a vps. Could we just get away with the the cheapest plan say 12-20 euros or would we have to get more ?
I'm the only one using the vps and probably won't do much more then upload / download 200 - 1000 kb files.
Upload/download is not limited to FTP etc. It means all bandwidth upload and download. If you're running a server, the server is going to be "uploading" quite a bit to multiple clients constantly.
Oke but what specs would I need if I would just run the minecraft server on the vps and only go on the vps when it isn't bussy in the server ?
And does anybody know a good host ?
