Asda? That's the kind of name I give my project files when I'm not in the mood of giving them actual names. :v:
Man I really hope those games coming out during the last half of this year is what the Wii U NEEDS otherwise things aren't looking so hot for Nintendo
...What the hell is Asda?

Why bother buying it if there aren't any games for it? My Wii U has been collecting dust for 7 months now.

Super Mario 3D World Donkey Kong Country Tropical Breeze Wonderful 101 Sonic Lost World Zelda Wind Waker
The games you listed are: A rerelease of a Wii game which Monster Hunter fans have already played to death A niche title which only really appeals to Dynasty Warriors/Warriors Orochi fans Pikmin 3, I can hardly say that'll be a failure A LEGO game, which have been of mixed popularity A fighting game available on the PS3 and 360 A racing game available on every other system A mainstream hit available on every other system A bad port of a game everyone already has because it's Batman A moderately popular Zelda clone available on every other system A hardcore zombie game A zombie game available on every other system None of those are bad games, but discounting Warriors Orochi 3 for being a very niche title and every game you can get on a system you probably already own, the Wii U currently has 4, maybe 5, games worth buying. As for the upcoming games Wind Waker is just a HD rerelease not worth buying a Wii U for, Super Mario 3D World is just 4 player SM3DL and SM3DL was really boring. Only Donkey Kong, Sonic, and The Wonderful 101 are worth getting. Even then unless you really like platformers or weird Katamari-esque(?) games it's not worth dropping $350 when you can get a PS4 for $50 more and have more games coming to you. I've been pretty vocal about the Wii U's failings and I continually criticise Nintendo for their poor decisions but it's not because I dislike the system or the company. I want the Wii U to be successful, but I'm not going to be a sycophant and say "Oh but the Wii U has these 5 games in the first year of release it's totally worth it guys." It isn't. The only titles worth buying for the Wii U are made by Nintendo, Nintendo are not supporting the Wii U or trying hard enough to foster a userbase. Their Wii U exclusives coming out are remakes and rehashes, and the games you would expect to be Wii U exclusives are also being released on the 3DS. People try to defend the Wii U by saying it's in a similar position to the PS3 or it'll pick up when X game is released but they're wrong. The PS3 was released in a very different climate than today, it had constant support by Sony with many exclusives and was the last of it's generation to come out. The Wii U is the first of it's generation and is doing miserably, it is getting awful support from Nintendo who are focusing on the handheld market, it has few exclusives many of which seems to be rushed or poorly thought out sequels to tide people over until the new Metroid or Zelda come out. I don't want the Wii U to fail but I'm not going to sit with my fingers in my ears and pretend everything is going fine for them. I'm going to criticise Nintendo and point to their awful sales numbers until they do their jobs and support the Wii U properly. I saddens me to see so many people leaping to the defence of the Wii U's poor performance, making excuses and not trying to halp make things better. It's like watching the Dreamcast all over again, and no one wants to see that happen twice.
I agree with some of your points.
Pikmin 3, I can hardly say that'll be a failure
Pikmin 3 already boosts the popularity of the Wii U, seeing how successful it already is in Japan. I think it will be doing well.
Super Mario 3D World is just 4 player SM3DL and SM3DL was really boring.
I loved SM3DL. Seeing how it is in Full HD, 60 FPS and in coop it's definitely a must have for me and my family. I have never played 3D Mariocoop before.
I've been pretty vocal about the Wii U's failings and I continually criticise Nintendo for their poor decisions but it's not because I dislike the system or the company. There is a jump between the 3DS and Wii U versions of the specific games like Mario Kart and Super Mario World. The Wii U uses its powers, like I said, delivering a better experience with more FPS and the Full HD. The games look wonderful and are expanded with additional content. I do get your point. I would have wished for new Sunshine like game, with a new groundbreaking gameplay element. But there are also people who don't own a 3DS who can be interested in those titles. I still think that especially with Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 8 many people will buy the Wii U. It will still take some time. They already have at least one complete new IP in the works under Miyamoto. I'm really excited about it.
The two biggest mistakes they did was giving it the name Wii U and releasing it too early. They have focused strongly on the handheld market, because the 3DS also lacked lots of games after the first year of release and of course still focus on it because it is doing quite well now. I can't predict the future, but I hope something similiar will happen to the Wii U. It just takes longer. It is a great console, Nintendo has some good games in the pipeline. They will and they have noticed that they need to support it more. And they will notice it if games like Mario Kart 8, Mario 3D World don't push the console like they expect it. The jump for me is bigger than from the Gamecube to the Wii technically wise. Even though I played and liked games like Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 I'm really interested in the new ones, even though they are strongly the same and just more polished and made for the big tv screen. I saw the offscreen gameplay about them and they just looked great. I really want to play them, but I understand that people want something new in these terms like a new "Galaxy" kind game or a new F-Zero.
Because party games on Wii U and superior master race gaming PC. I love SSB and all but I'm not buying a Wii U just for that.
