Would this be an okay Sandy Bridge build, or are some the parts overkill?

***I found a better (i think) motherboard. is it okay?***
This is my first time building a computer, and i want to make sure i've got it all right.
I live in Denmark, and as the title suggests i wanna know if any of these parts are incompatible with each other, if some of them are too old/crappy or if some of this is too expensive/fast.
It's primarily going to be used as a gaming PC.

I found an i5: http://www.shg.dk/CPU/Intel-Core-i5-2500-Sandy-Bridge-2243176.html
The keyboard will be this one: http://store.daskeyboard.com/Das-Keyboard-Professional-Model-Silent/dp/B003F7OZ6U
EDIT: I need Windows 7 too.

I'd go with a better case and maybe a modular power supply, the rest looks good.
Don't get that hard disk for use as a boot drive - it's too slow. Get an F3 instead.
And perhaps get better RAM?
Get ram with heatspreaders.
I'd suggest the i5 2500K as processor, if you decide to take a K processor i'd suggest to get heatspreaders on your RAM and overclock the processor.
could consider the samsung 2233rz monitor instead
don't get valueram. I suggest some XMS3 sticks, they're high quality for low price
Or GeIL Value series.

What case would you recommend then? I just picked the cheapest because i don't know much about picking cases, and whats a modular power supply? I chose this one because it got good reviews but i'll take another one if it's better.

I thought the F4 was faster than the F3 because it had 4 in its name. I'll read some tests of them or something.

i5 2500 sounds fine, but i'm not going to need the K. I wont overclock.

I'll look into it.

Modular power supply has cables you can detatch for optimal cable use/management and no useless cables dangling around.

Thanks for the information. I'll find a modular power supply. Is 650w even enough? (I just wanna make sure i get the right one.)
EDIT: I'm not good at finding power supplies. Can you recommend one?
650W is more than enough. This should do nicely http://www.edbpriser.dk/Product/Details.aspx?pid=709551
Thanks!
Or ADATA or Mushkin or GSkill. Corsair RAM is so overpriced and overrated.
I just checked, and after Valueram (which i was told is crap) Corsair is the cheapest.

It's 5400RPM and designed for use as a storage drive. Booting from it would be painfully slow.
That being said, it's a great drive for its intended purpose so if you want the extra space you could get it along with an F3.
Well, i am planning to start with one HDD and then i could get another one later and do RAID 1. Can i fill one hard disk first and then later mirror it for RAID 1, or would i have to reformat both?
Sorry to steal the thread but is this okay for a motherboard for the i5-2500k?

I'm kind of on a budget, already pushed it by £20.

if you're getting a K CPU, get a P67 mobo so you can overclock otherwise you might as well be getting the regular 2500
There's a P67 mobo on ebuyer for less than 100 quid, 80something IIRC.

How about this? In the 80's..

Kind of pushes my budget a bit too far. So how fast would a regular i5-2500 be with 4gb ram and a 5770 1gb?
Updated the motherboard. Is it acceptable?
