I have windows 7 64-bit and I am running it on a i5 processor @2.66Ghz (i think)
Everytime i check my CPU usage it is at 100% this happens when my computer is idling.
What is cause this? Is my computer throttling itself?
Also there are a lot of FahCore.exe processors. Do I need to have these running?
That's folding@home? It's doing computation reserach stuff which eats processors cycles like a bastard.

I'm assuming it's F@H anyway
fahcore.exe is f@h
can i stop it somehow?
Yes. Right click on taskbar, click on task manager, go to processes, then right click on every fahcore.exe and click on end process.
i mean permanently stopping these from running at every start up
Is there a program you can uninstall?
CCleaner/MSConfig
Open it up and if you are in simple view, go to preferences and set up a time for it to start processing. Or go to msconfig in run and remove it from start up.
yea i fixed it, but thanks anyways
