Could someone fill me in on why Ryzen is the go-to at the moment?

Don't forget AMD's promise of keeping the same socket until 2021, compared to Intel's "new socket every year" mentality

Also because of [I]how[/I] threadripper works. It's amazing because their infinity fabric technology is amazing.
