Windows is already a great platform for gaming. Games for Windows Live however is not. Please do not make another Games for Windows Live.
I sat in a talk once at a Steam Conference where they said that one of the questions they ask themselves when interviewing someone is "do we want this guy working for one of our competitors". Oops.
I would like to see Microsoft do better and become a sizable competitor in the space but I hope this doesn't wind up causing Steam to decline in quality.
I guess the Headhunter did a good job to get this guy on board. I imagine they showed him some good numbers for his future job.
All I have to say to microsoft is this... "Good Luck" because you need to it to applease the folks you love to piss off lately.

That isn't changing despite what we think of Microsoft's "recent decisions" when it comes to console gaming. Also it's important to point out that we have no idea how involved the company was with the Xbox One. I mean they're two separate divisions. I imagine it just needed some approval from some high ups but surely a lot of people at Microsoft thought it was a shitty move to make.

Xbox is a division of Microsoft, and Microsoft is a company/corporation/whatever of course the guys making the MSpaint are gonna have little to not part in making the Xbone, but since the Xbone is worthy of a division I think it safe to say that Microsoft as a company had quite a lot of involvement with the creation of the console. While not on the level of Windows its a massive money making machine. Why would anyone think the Xbone was a bad idea when all things considered, the Xbox 360 was pretty successful. I really don't understand how you can think Microsoft isn't involved in selling a Microsoft product.
