My Radeon X1600 has three ports on the back: VGA, S-Video, and DVI. I've got my lcd television hooked up to VGA, and it displays fine, but my lcd monitor, connected to DVI, will not show the desktop.
When I boot up my computer, both monitors display the BIOS screen, and the Windows loading screen, but my the desktop loads, my DVI monitor seems to stop working. I've tried enabling the monitor through both the Windows interface, and the ATI panel, but neither will enable the monitor. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

This one describes my problem exactly, but there is no solution that I can see in any of the links.

XP, and could you elaborate on how to "set it up?"
Update drivers, make sure you get the catalyst software as well.. then it should detect that you have three display's and hopefully you can adjust the settings that way.
I had the same problem with my Radeon X600, although I did find a dual monitor thing on my bios, which makes no difference I have discovered.
Also, Under Properties go to Settings.. There you should see multiple display's in the drop-down menu, and have a few limited ways of adjusting it.
