I can't find a good website where I'm suppose to study to take the written test. I live in CA, can someone please help me? thanks !
Several years ago I did the www.driversed.com program. It has lessons, section quizzes and tests that will help you. It does cost a bit of money though (not much).
is there a free one?
Check the Department of Transportation, Licensing, and/or Motor Vehicles website for your state.
I went to the CA DMV website and found a "drivers handbook" pdf file. Is this what I'm suppose to study for the written test? I have no idea what I am doing
Here's a sample test from the DMV of CA. http://apps.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/interactive/tdrive/flash/flashtest.htm [editline]5th March 2012[/editline] Also, I would say definitely read the Driver's Handbook all the way through at least twice; consider stopping by your local driver's ed or DMV to pick up a hard copy. You'll want to study the numbers and specifics - how far away can you park from a fire hydrant? Under what conditions do you have to stop for a school bus? When do you have to have your lights on?
Three words, "trial and error"
Official CA DMV page. http://dmv.ca.gov/pubs/interactive/tdrive/exam.htm Just go through these (The C test) once or twice and you'll pass the test easily.
When I took the Michigan test, it was 99% common sense. Incredibly easy.
Washington test was numbers heavy. There were three questions about buses, a topic that was a little less than a page in the handbook.
Thank you!
It's all common sense man and I'm Californian also. It was piss easy
