For some reason my Windows 7 updates aren't downloading.
I went to the control panel to download the updates that I forgot to download (I have it set to letting me decide if I want an update), and I go to update them, it starts downloading but it stays at 0 KB Total and 0% complete.
This is 42 updates, I did kinda forget to do them once a month for a couple of months (busy using Linux at the time), so I understand if 0% means all 42 updates, but 0 KB should be at least higher, because it would show how much is downloaded in general.
when you leave updates for so long it takes windows update forever to determine which one it needs
just let it sit for a while
I've had this problem a couple of times, and from my experience even on a good internet connection it often takes a couple of hours or so before you'll see the progress bar move when installing updates in bulk.
Leave it on overnight or in the background for a few hours.
Or dont even update until M$ remove the windows 10 popup that you dont have right now.
