• TF2 Server Problem

Ok, So I'm logging in to TF2 for the first time in about half a year. It loads up fine but when I press play Multiplayer or Co-op, it says "There was a problem communicating to the Steam servers. Make sure you are logged on to Steam." Ok then, so I press browse servers and it says "Steam Beta must be running to make use of find servers." I know the "fix" for this and I tried opting in on Steam Beta under Steam>Settings>etc.... And it restarts steam and I check to see if I'm in beta and it says "NONE-Opt out of beta" and I try opting in a couple times. An then I tried all the betas specific to TF2, and it still doesn't help. And then I try doing this under no firewall. Still no improvement. Then I delete the serverbrowser.vdf in the local folder, verifying steam cache, etc. NOPE. And no problem with GMOD as far as I know, or anything really. ANY help would be appreciated.
reinstall steam maybe, uninstall tf2
I suggest you reinstall Steam. If not that, then reinstall TF2. [sp]And if you still can't fix it, I'm more than willing to take your inventory for TF2.[/sp]
I think you should have posted that in the TF2 section.
I think you should have posted that in the TF2 section.
Its a steam problem as well, as I can't click "Steam Beta Update." And id there any other solution than just uninstalling everything? That's a bit too overpowered seeing as I'd have to download 50 gigs worth of games again.
