I've not looked into it specifically, but maybe they show you their screen over online play.

The game plays splitscreen even if it is just you playing on one PC.

I remember me and my friends did this in Halo by setting everyone to permanent active camo. I mean, you could still see each other [I]slightly[/I], but the idea was to look at the other player's screen.

the splitscreen works with one person on keyboard and the other three with controllers. The game also has online splitscreen as well

If you're not understanding how people could play this online, everyone's screen is splitscreen so you can actually play. The concept is is that everyone on your screen is invisible and you have to look at their screens to find out where they are.

You don't need a TV to play in splitscreen? Just put several chairs in front of your desk.

Because it's ironic and would only have been relevant as an ironic concept for the past recent years

in my opinion this will be fun for 15 minutes

but i personally don't see how this could stand as a lasting game for people to play.

i think it's just a gimmick, but i guess we'll just have to see how they pull it off
